This June, a group of pre-professional singers from the Irish Youth Choir joined Chamber Choir Ireland for three days of intensive training, with a focus on preparing them to embark upon their own professional choral singing careers.
Participants were given the opportunity to hone their skills in a professional environment, rehearsing side-by-side with the professionals under conductor Bernie Sherlock, taking part in positive and constructive feedback sessions with the Chamber Choir Ireland singers, and learning about applying for positions and everything that is expected of professional choral singers with CEO Majella Hollywood.
