Chamber Choir Ireland poster design included in the Top 100 archive for 2016!

A selection of posters from Chamber Choir Ireland’s  2016 Autumn/Winter season has been included in the 100 archive of 2016, celebrating the top 100 Irish graphic design projects of the year.

Huge congratulations go out to the extremely talented Gareth Jones, who looks after all our graphic design needs. Gareth has worked with Chamber Choir Ireland for the best part of ten years and is a wonderful talent and a joy to work with.

Below you can see the designs and methodology for the posters.

This is the Autumn/Winter season for the country’s flagship choral ensemble and national chamber choir. The geometric designs respond to the content of each concert.

The bell of each instrument in the saxophone quartet prompts a composition of circular forms; the different geometries representing the different sounds, an exploration of the interactivity between them.

Choirland, a concert exploring the rich tapestry of choral music in Ireland, inspires an interplay of connecting and diverging lines.

In Bachiana, Bach and Brazil meet in a baroque deconstruction of the Brazilian flag.
