Following the culmination of the 2018/19 Composers in the Classroom project, Chamber Choir Ireland and the Contemporary Music Centre are delighted to present a selection of new works from participating students as part of the New Music Dublin Festival. The featured works are a result of several months of workshops in schools throughout the country, delivered by seven of Ireland’s leading composers, represented by CMC, supplemented with singers visits from Chamber Choir Ireland wherein students were coached in the creative process of composing for a SATB choir.
This project is delivered with the support of the Arts Council of Ireland and The National Lottery through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
