Support the next generation of professional singers in the CCI Studio
There is currently no dedicated third-level study programme for singers seeking to become professional choral singers in Ireland.
Our most talented young singers emerge from their studies into a disheartening landscape, needing to travel abroad to access the training and professional experience they need to reach their full potential.
Over the last year, 13 of Ireland’s finest emerging choral singers took part in the first ever CCI Studio
—a year of bespoke professional development and performance opportunities, giving them the hands-on experience they need to progress and develop their professional choral career. Accessibility is central to this programme, and the full CCI Studio experience will be offered at no expense to the talented singers selected.
The pilot year of the CCI Studio was made possible by support from the Arts Council/ An Chomhairle Ealaíon, and by the generosity of Chamber Choir Ireland’s Supporters.
We need your support to ensure that we can welcome a new cohort of emerging singers for 2024/25.
We are looking for a small number of generous individuals to support these singers directly by becoming a Learning Benefactor (€500) or a Next Generation Champion (€1,500).
Your support will help cover all tuition, mentoring, travel and subsistence costs, as well as paid performance engagements.
