Warwick HarteTenor

Warwick Harte was head chorister at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin. Upon moving to London in 1974, he studied singing with Janet Sødring, Elizabeth Pearson, and Jean Austin-Dobson of the Royal Academy of Music. In opera, Warwick has performed with Court Opera in Holland Park, and the LFC in Orange, France, and, in oratorio, with the Addison Singers. He has also performed as soloist in the Wigmore Hall and in St. Martin in the Fields with Cantanti Camerati.
On returning to Dublin in 1994 Warwick has sung regularly with Opera Ireland, and with Wide Open Opera. He has been a member of Christ Church Cathedral and Clarendon Street choirs, and in 2013 he was appointed tenor Lay Vicar Choral at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Warwick is a member of Resurgam, specializing in Baroque music, and has been a member of Chamber Choir Ireland since 1999.
