The Great Mystery

This programme features works from German composer Bernd Franke, the late Peter Maxwell Davies as well as the central work to this programme; Ne Reminiscaris by David Fennessy, the second in a triptych of pieces newly commissioned by Chamber Choir Ireland. Fennessy takes some influence from works by Orlandus Lassus, works which book-end this complete programme. David can be seen discussing this new work HERE Chamber Choir Ireland is delighted to return to the Cork International Choral Festival as Choir-in-Residence, offering an extended seminar session as part of the festival’s choral symposium. Our annual Gala Concert will feature the world premiere performance of Ne Reminiscaris by David Fennessy, a CCI/CICF jointly commissioned work as well as works by Orlandus Lassus, Bernd Franke and Peter Maxwell Davies.
